Maritime robotics from Bremerhaven, Germany

Bathymetry of what lies beneath the surface.

With the SensorBoat, a boat you can also fit with your own sensors.

Mare Robotics is the maritime brand of UAV-DEV GmbH. We build the SensorBoat, an autonomous boat with 10 kg payload, survey your waters with it and deliver the depth map. We also sell sonar technology from Cerulean Sonar. Everything from one source, with support in German and English.

SensorBoat

A boat that carries your sensors and drives itself.

Four T200 thrusters make the SensorBoat omnidirectional: it holds position and heading independently, runs survey lines with RTK accuracy and returns home even with two thrusters down. Payloads are fastened, cabled and sealed through 20 generic mounts. The adapter comes out of a 3D printer.

  • 1.5 kWh LiFePO4, about 12 hours or 34 km per charge
  • Autonomous missions with live video, pause and resume, mission upload while under way
  • Control and record live depth and side-scan from the shore
  • 4G/5G data link with backup, 360° laser scanner for obstacle avoidance

Survey as a service

Depth maps and 3D models of the bottom.

We run the SensorBoat on your waters, capture the bottom with a multibeam or single-beam echo sounder and deliver processed data: depth grid, contour lines, 3D mesh, volume and report. On request combined with a drone orthophoto of the shoreline.

  • Sand and gravel pits: remaining volume, extraction progress, slopes
  • Harbours, berths, locks: target depths and sedimentation
  • Retention basins, reservoirs, treatment plants: silting and sludge levels
  • Side-scan for object search, wrecks and structure inspection

Authorised distributor

Cerulean Sonar: sonar technology that fits small vehicles.

Cerulean Sonar develops compact imaging sonars, multibeam echo sounders, Doppler velocity logs and acoustic positioning for ROVs, AUVs and USVs. We sell these sonars as a distributor for Germany listed by Cerulean. Buying from us includes initial setup support, and you can reach us in German or English. On request we integrate the devices directly into the SensorBoat.

About us

Mare RoboticsMare Robotics

Mare Robotics is the maritime brand of UAV-DEV GmbH.

UAV-DEV GmbH from Bremerhaven, Germany, develops and manufactures unmanned systems in the air and on the water. Under Mare Robotics we bundle everything to do with waters: the SensorBoat, survey missions with our own equipment and staff, and the sale of Cerulean Sonar products.

You talk to the people who designed the boat and operate it on the water themselves. Adapting it to your sensor or use case is our normal business, not the exception.
