We sell the sonars of Cerulean Sonar. As a listed distributor, UAV-DEV GmbH supplies the complete range from Bremerhaven: imaging sonars, multibeam echo sounders, Doppler velocity logs and acoustic positioning for ROVs, AUVs and USVs. Every purchase through us includes initial setup support by remote access, phone and email, in German or English.
Range
All devices connect via Ethernet, run on 10 to 30 V DC and use the free SonarView software. We quote prices in euros on request. The manufacturer's prices in US dollars are available for comparison at ceruleansonar.com.
Forward-looking imaging sonar for ROVs. Builds the image from the vehicle's motion, without a mechanical scanner. For navigation, wreck hunting and situational awareness.
Side-scan sonar with a long transducer for 50 % better angular resolution. Two units scan both sides at once; MAVLink position data georeferences the image.
Bridges the gap between side-scan and multibeam: generates dense 3D point clouds in real time for inspection, mapping and navigation in zero visibility.

USBL positioning for ROVs and AUVs. The Mk III works with transceiver and transponder without timebase synchronisation, allowing dives of any length without drift. Position via MAVLink in QGroundControl.
Complete system for tracking underwater vehicles, either via PoE tether with network hub or wirelessly via a long-range Wi-Fi module.
Rugged Ethernet hubs for topside and subsea, to bring several Cerulean devices to the vehicle or computer over one cable.

We discuss your waters, carrier vehicle and goal with you and recommend the right device, variant, bracket and accessories. So you do not buy anything you do not need.
We guide you through the initial setup: network and power supply, integration into SonarView, BlueOS or ArduPilot, first recording and data export. This is done by remote access, phone and email.
For questions during operation you reach us by phone or email. We know the devices from our own use and handle warranty cases directly with the manufacturer.
Why buy from us
You buy the sonar from us and get advice and initial setup support with it. We use Cerulean devices ourselves: the depth model of the sand pit was recorded with SonarView. We know how the devices are mounted on the vehicle, cabled and integrated into BlueOS or ArduPilot, and we help with questions instead of just forwarding them.
